Join us in the Library’s community room at 6 PM on Friday, June 20th for a special screening of the documentary film Sugarcane — a powerful film that explores the tragic legacy of residential schools, the horrifying abuse of Native children at St. Joseph's Mission in British Colombia, and the resiliency of the Native community. The film is presented in partnership with the Round Valley Indian Tribes’ MMIP program. 

Sugarcane contains mature themes. Parents and guardians are advised to consider whether the film is appropriate for younger viewers. Doors will open at 5:45.
