Roots Of Motive Power's Annual TWO-DAY Steam Engineering & Operating Safety Class is required training to operate steam equipment at the Roots yard.

Each day begins at 8AM and ends by 5PM with a break for lunch. The first half of the day is classroom instruction, then out to the yard for hands-on experience. 

Classes are for Roots Members only. You must become a member of Roots to participate. (Membership application)

To register for the class, we will need:

1. Your name, address, phone number and email address.
2. $75 payable to Roots of Motive Power (please be sure to note that this is for the Steam Engineering Class).
3. If applicable, $55 Membership fee & application as well.
