Can a board game save lives? Maybe it can.

Wildfire preparedness can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t need to. By turning the process into a board game, learning about wildfire safety can be engaging, approachable, and community‑driven.

The game encourages neighbors to think through evacuation plans and practice how they would respond together, all in a low‑pressure, exploratory setting. The goal is simple: help people build confidence now, so they’re better prepared when it truly matters.
