Join Ukiah Branch Library staff on the 2nd Thursday in December at 6 pm for a live virtual poetry reading & open mic on Zoom. This free event is open to both teens & adults – all are invited to share poems in any form or style, or just listen to others. In January, we will resume readings in person at the Ukiah Branch Library on the 3rd Saturdays of each month at 3 pm.
On December 8th, we welcome Point Arena Poet Laureate Blake More. Blake practices many disciplines including visual art, poetry, video, performance, and teaching. She is the CalPoets Area Coordinator, host of a poetry & jazz reading series, and two public radio shows: Be More Now on KZYX&Z FM Mendocino and Cartwheels on the Sky on KGUA FM.
