Makers Making Fun; an Assemblage Art Exhibit
February 3, 2023 5:00 PM -7:00 PM
Ukiah Branch Library staff invite the community to join us for Art Walk Ukiah on Friday, February 3rd from 5-7 pm. Come enjoy an exhibit by local artists the Makers, titled “Makers Making Fun; an Assemblage Art Exhibit.” The Makers enjoy creating assemblages, and part of their love of this art process is collecting and repurposing odd and interesting objects found anywhere and everywhere. The mission of the Makers is to demonstrate that becoming an artist is born from creating for the joy of creating itself.
The Ukiah Branch Library will be hosting live music by Steve Hahm. Collage crafting card materials will be available for in-person crafting or as a Take & Make. Enjoy a book sale by the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library as you browse the Art Walk.
This exhibit is free to the public, for all ages, and sponsored by the Friends of the Ukiah Valley Library and Mendocino County Library.

Fabricando/Haciendo una Obra de Arte; una Exhibicion de Arte Asamblanda

Los empleados de la Biblioteca de Ukiah estan invitando a la comunidad a que se unan a nosotros a participar al Paseo de Arte, el Viernes, 3 de Febrero de las 5-7 pm. Venga y disfrute con la exhibicion de los artistas locales, que hicieron el arte, titulado “Fabricantes de Arte Asamblado.“ Los fabricantes o creadores de este arte disfrutaron hacienda los conjuntos de asamblear el arte con gusto y amor durante el proceso fue colectar y reusar objetos unusuales e interesantes hayados en diversas partes. La mission de los fabricantes es demostrar que un artista puede nacer creando a su gusto sus propias creaciones.
La Bliblioteca de Ukiah sera la anfritiona de la musica, tocaran Steve Hahm. Para las personas que vengan habra material para hacer un collage de tarjetas, o para hacer algo para llevar. Tambien durante su visita observando el arte, disfrute de la venta de libros organizada por los Amigos de la Biblioteca del Valle de Ukiah y la Biblioteca.
Este exhibicion es gratitua para todo el publico de todas las edades y es patrocinada por los Amigos de la Biblioteca de el Valle de Ukiah y la Biblioteca de Ukiah.
